Joanna Clarke Primary School, Assembly Hall

Assembly hall at Joanna Clarke Primary School in Savannah, Grand Cayman. A hall has to hold the whole school at once, so the structure, the acoustics and the mechanical services are sized differently to an ordinary classroom block, and each of those decisions carries a cost. Building it on a campus that stays open means the programme is set by the school year rather than by the contractor. Our role covered cost and delivery support.
