About Nautic

The firm is new. The experience is not.

Before Nautic, our team costed and delivered airport runways and airside infrastructure, acute private hospitals, twin school campuses, five-star heritage restorations, nursing homes, city-centre offices and residential developments running to hundreds of units. That work was done at other firms, in other markets, to standards that do not move.

Nautic exists because Cayman clients were being asked to appoint four different consultancies to answer one question. A purchaser needs condition, cost and value. A strata board needs management, reinstatement cost and a reserve plan. An insurer needs a loss adjusted and the rebuild priced properly. Those are not separate problems, and they should not require separate appointments.

How we work

Every instruction begins with a written scope and fee. Every report puts its conclusion at the front, states the assumptions behind it, and shows the evidence. Where a figure cannot be supported, we say so rather than estimate it, a habit that matters more in valuation and claims than anywhere else.

Accreditation and regulation

Nautic is regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Our team holds membership of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters, the Chartered Institute of Building and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and we are accredited Loss Adjusters through the Department of Finance in Miami. The firm is fully insured, with professional indemnity cover in place.
